With an impressive 25-year career in Federal Service as a Technologist, Solomon Freeman brings a wealth of experience to the table. Currently serving on the esteemed Sarah Jane Bentley Foundation board as a member-at-large, Solomon is deeply connected to his family's legacy. Growing up in Southern New Jersey alongside his beloved grandmother, Sarah Jane, Solomon developed a strong bond and cherished memories. In 1997, he embarked on a new journey by joining the United States Army, where he discovered his passion and aptitude for technology. Equipped with a formal education, Solomon seamlessly transitioned into the Federal workforce and now holds the esteemed position of Senior Solutions Architect.
Jewel Wright, PhD, Secretary
Jewel L. Wright, with her extensive background in science and public health, has made significant contributions in the federal sector for over 20 years. Dr. Wright holds a PhD in Epidemiology and dual Master’s Degrees in Community Health and Biology. Her federal experience spans roles as a Public Health Analyst, Biologist, and Research Fellow. In academia, Dr. Wright conducted research focused on neurobehavioral pharmacology and obesity. She also served as an Assistant Adjunct Professor. Currently, she is an esteemed member of both the American College of Epidemiology and the American Public Health Association. Dr. Wright’s dedication to advancing public health and her multidisciplinary expertise continue to shape the field.
Doris Bentley, Chairperson
Doris Bentley contributes over three decades of business management expertise to the Sara Jane Bentley Foundation. Since her retirement, she has actively participated in her Homeowners Association (HOA) for seven years and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Living Waters Wesleyan Church in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Doris is committed to serving her community, particularly those in need.
